Do I need to know the anime to play?
No. The Core Book covers the setting from scratch; the series is a bonus, not a prerequisite.

Can I add the other dice sets later?
Yes. The Ed Smile set is one of eight in the line, each dedicated to a different character — they’re sold separately and work together at the table.
